At Ræder, we work closely with our clients and advise them on how to best safeguard their interests both now and in the future by identifying, protecting and strengthening their intangible assets. We assist clients across industries and borders establish, secure and enforce intellectual property rights, be it trademarks, designs, domains and/or company names. 

Ræder has one of Norway’s largest and most experienced IP teams. The team advises, manages, registers and renews trademark and design portfolios on behalf of companies or licensors. We use the intellectual property management software PATRICIA to handle portfolios.

Furthermore, we have extensive experience in assisting in negotiation of use and / or transfer of rights, and work extensively with rights clearances for rights holders and recipients. Given copyright’s importance for almost all business areas, it is vital to know its constraints and opportunities in an increasing number of contexts, whether on the internet, in publishing, media, entertainment, software, arts and crafts or education.

Our team often negotiates and drafts international technology contracts. We also negotiate on behalf of clients and should a conflict arise, plead cases, handle litigations in all courts of law and arbitrations.
